Maersk has announced a terminal change for its SLC Aegean Sea Service in Izmir as part of ongoing efforts to improve service reliability and support better supply chain planning for customers.
Under the revised arrangement, the service will discontinue calls at Izmir–Socar Aliaga and instead call at Izmir–Nemport. The change is intended to provide a more stable and reliable service to and from the Turkish market.
The first vessel scheduled to call at the Izmir–Nemport terminal will be W Kampala, voyage 605N, with an estimated time of departure on 8 February 2026.
Maersk said it continues to monitor market conditions and adjust its network to ensure efficient and reliable supply chain solutions. Customers with questions or requiring further assistance have been advised to contact their local customer experience or sales representatives.
