Maersk shifts Charleston operations to Hugh Leatherman Terminal

Maersk has decided to shift its operations in Charleston to the Hugh Leatherman Terminal (HLT), replacing the Charleston Wando Terminal.

The HLT terminal offers an enhanced service level, ensuring a highly reliable Oceania service, said the Danish carrier in its announcement.

The first Maersk vessel that will call at Charleston’s HLT will be Olga Maersk, estimated to arrive at the South Carolina port on 24 January 2025.
