Maersk reports preliminary Q3 revenue of US$15.8 billion

Based on preliminary unaudited figures, A.P. Moller Maersk reports revenue of US$15.8 billion, underlying earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of US$4.8 billion and underlying earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of US$3.3 billion for the third quarter of 2024.

Additionally, Maersk now expects for the full year 2024 underlying EBITDA of US$11 to 11.5 billion and EBIT of US$5.2 to 5.7 billion and free cash flow of at least US$3 billion.

“The outlook for the global container market volume growth for the full year 2024 has been revised to around 6%,” said the Danish carrier in its announcement.

The company noted it will publish its full third-quarter interim results on 31 October.
