Maersk opens shared service centre in Warsaw

Maersk has opened a new shared service centre in Warsaw to support its growing European operations and provide multilingual services across various parts of the business.

The office is located in the Wola district, a fast-developing financial and business hub in the Polish capital. More than 100 Maersk employees, representing nine nationalities, are already working at the site. The new workplace is designed with a focus on sustainability and collaboration, reflecting Maersk’s strategy to strengthen its presence in Europe.

“I’m immensely proud of this significant milestone. Adding a new location in Warsaw not only strengthens our presence in Europe but also underscores our commitment to improve customer experience, centralise and standardise operations,” said Caroline Wu, Head of Global Service Centre organisation at Maersk.

“It is fantastic to see how this project has taken shape, as we now have a new hub in the heart of Warsaw, helping us serve our customers across the region. This is a testament to Poland’s great potential as a talent hub, and I am so happy to see the engagement and positive vibes I have experienced in the office,” said Aymeric Chandavoine, EVP and President Europe.

The centre was officially inaugurated on 21 August and is expected to play a key role in supporting Maersk’s regional growth, while setting new benchmarks for efficiency and customer service.
