Maersk moderates its North America network

Maersk has announced adjustments on its Mediterranean Montreal Express (MMX) service. The Danish carrier has decided to discontinue the MMX service and restructure its network.

“With this adjustment we will continue to offer the same port pairs with improved transit times,” said Maersk Line.

The shipping company anticipates these adjustments to take effect from the 1 June 2020 vessel departure date from Genoa, Italy. The MMX schedules for the month of May 2020 will, therefore, remain unchanged.

In addition, due to market demand reductions in North America and the Mediterranean as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and the challenges in the supply chain, Maersk will blank the TA6 MSC Judith in wk20 (WB voyage).
