Maersk has announced a series of temporary adjustments to its Tango Service rotation, aimed at optimizing port coverage in South America and the US East Coast amid evolving network demands.

Beginning with the Maersk Monte Linzor, scheduled to arrive on July 22, the carrier will resume weekly calls to Rio Grande, restoring regular access to the Brazilian port.

Meanwhile, service to Rio de Janeiro will continue on a bi-weekly basis, maintaining consistent albeit reduced coverage for the region.

However, calls to Norfolk, Virginia will remain suspended until further notice.

Customers requiring access to the US East Coast will be redirected via Maersk’s TP-12 service, which offers coverage through Cartagena, Colombia.
