Maersk has announced a revision to its Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) covering exports from the Asia Pacific region to the Middle East. The adjustment will apply to cargo moving from Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste, and South Korea to destinations in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
The revised surcharge will take effect on 10 September 2025, with tariff details communicated directly to customers.
