Maersk and CMA CGM reshuffle Asia-South Africa joint service

The rotation of the Shaka 2 service, which is jointly operated by CMA CGM and Maersk Line, will be adjusted.

The two companies have decided to remove Yantian and Hong Kong from the Southbound rotation, while Port Louis and Honk Kong will be taken out of the Northbound rotation.

These actions will help ensure service reliability during the ongoing congestion in Asia, according to a statement.

Starting with the 8,112TEU Maersk Taikung voy. 0SSAVW1MA, Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) in Shanghai on 19 December and until further notice, the service will therefore have the following rotation:

Shanghai – Ningbo – Tanjung Pelepas – Port Louis – Durban – Tanjung Pelepas – Shanghai
