LX Pantos has partnered with SK Innovation E&S to install solar power systems across its logistics centers in South Korea.
The agreement covers three sites, including the MegaWise Cheongna Center in Incheon, as well as facilities in Changwon and Yongin.
Solar rollout and energy sharing
The project will install rooftop solar systems with a combined capacity of 2 MW. The centers will generate and consume power on-site.
LX Pantos will also introduce a power-sharing system between facilities. This will allow energy produced at one site to supply another, improving efficiency.
Emissions reduction and ESG focus
The company expects to cut carbon emissions by around 1,200 tons per year.
SK Innovation E&S will manage the full project scope, including design, construction, and maintenance.
LX Pantos already operates a 2.5 MW solar system at its Sihwa MTV logistics center and plans to expand renewable energy across its network.
The initiative supports the company’s ESG strategy and aims to transform logistics centers into energy-generating infrastructure.
