Liebherr Group achieves record annual turnover of over US$13 billion

Liebherr Group ended the fiscal year 2022 with a turnover of US$13.7 billion, which is improved by 8% in comparison to the prior year’s figure, boosting its turnover in 10 of its 13 product categories.

The German-Swiss multinational equipment manufacturer reported growth in seven product segments such as earthmoving, material handling technology, mobile and crawler cranes, concrete technology, and mining, among others, which generated a turnover of US$9.2 billion, representing an increase of 6.9%.

The remaining six product segments of maritime cranes, aerospace and transportation systems, gear technology, automation systems, refrigerators and freezers, components, and hotels recorded a turnover of US$4.3 billion, translating to a year-on-year growth of 11%.

In addition, Liebherr generated a net income of approximately US$2.2 million in the last year, while the company expects further growth in turnover in 2023.
