Kintetsu World Express (Benelux) B.V. has officially started full bonded warehouse operations at its new facility in Amsterdam Schiphol Airport’s southern cargo district as of October 8, 2025. This follows a phased opening that began in April 2025.
The warehouse is strategically located near major ground handlers like Swissport, WFS, and dnata, improving accessibility and efficiency in air cargo operations. By bringing previously outsourced Container Freight Station (CFS) tasks in-house, KWE Benelux can now handle Unit Load Device (ULD) build-up and breakdown internally, cutting lead times and enhancing flexibility and service quality.
KWE Benelux is also strengthening its focus on high-value cargo, including pharmaceuticals, medical goods, and perishables. The facility is set to receive TAPA-A certification, the industry’s highest security standard, and benefits from a 1,500㎡ temperature-controlled warehouse in Westport, about 15 km from Schiphol, for temperature-sensitive shipments.
This new facility reinforces KWE’s role as a major logistics hub in Europe. The KWE Group will continue to expand its high-quality transport and warehousing solutions as part of its goal to become a Global Top 10 Solution Partner.
