Kuehne+Nagel is deepening its long-term collaboration with ABB in Chile. The new agreement adds contract logistics, last-mile delivery, and fulfilment services to a partnership that already spans more than 10 years in the country, and over 30 globally.
Under the expanded deal, Kuehne+Nagel will now support ABB’s Electrification, Motion, and Process Automation units. The company has also added cross-docking services in coordination with air logistics, helping streamline operations from Europe and the U.S.
All logistics services run through Kuehne+Nagel’s Santiago distribution center. Opened in 2024, the high-standard (AAA) facility handles around 300 orders per month, reaching over 120 customers across Chile.
“This move reflects our shared commitment to sustainable, efficient logistics,” said Javier Ansó, Head of Contract Logistics at Kuehne+Nagel Chile. “We’re proud to support ABB’s growth in the country.”
ABB also sees the value in the expanded logistics setup. “A strategic partner helps us build a more agile, secure, and sustainable distribution network,” said Martín Castellucci, ABB’s Country Holding Officer for Chile and Peru.
Sustainability is a key focus. Kuehne+Nagel has deployed an electric fleet dedicated to ABB’s operations. Both companies are working toward a 15% cut in energy use through efficiency upgrades. They also plan to install solar panels by 2026 and aim to eliminate landfill-bound waste through an ambitious zero-waste strategy.
