Kuehne+Nagel has renewed and expanded its longstanding partnership with Airbus, reinforcing its role as a key logistics provider for the aerospace leader’s operations across Spain.
The renewed agreement covers logistics for Airbus’ production and storage facilities nationwide and, for the first time, extends to support helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities.
The comprehensive scope of operations includes in-plant logistics, inter-site transportation, warehouse-to-line deliveries, supply fulfilment center operations, and spare parts management.
More than 900 Kuehne+Nagel employees support these activities from 16 strategic locations across Albacete, Cádiz, Madrid, Sevilla, Toledo, and Zaragoza.
To enhance efficiency and transparency, Kuehne+Nagel has invested in advanced technologies, including a proprietary warehouse management system, robotics, RFID-enabled small-part control systems, and IoT applications.
Sustainability remains a key pillar of the collaboration, with initiatives aimed at reducing cardboard and plastic usage throughout the supply chain.
