Kuehne+Nagel expands air network with new Bengaluru gateway

Kuehne+Nagel has launched a new air logistics gateway in Bengaluru, expanding its global airfreight network and strengthening support for India’s fast-growing high-tech, healthcare, and automotive sectors.

The facility handles cargo consolidation and deconsolidation, streamlines customs processes, and offers temperature-controlled operations to ensure reliability and efficiency. Fully integrated with Kuehne+Nagel’s digital platforms, including the myKN customer portal, it provides real-time visibility and a seamless booking experience.

Bengaluru was chosen for its strategic connectivity to Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Dubai, and Chicago, and its growing role as a hub for technology and cross-border trade. The new gateway enhances load efficiency, routing flexibility, and capacity management across commercial and charter networks while positioning the company close to key customers in southern India.

“With the opening of the Bengaluru gateway, we are giving customers greater connectivity, efficiency, and resilience as part of our global air logistics strategy,” said Yngve Ruud, Executive Vice President, Air Logistics, Kuehne+Nagel Group. “India’s rapid development makes it a key market, and this investment reflects our commitment to its industries and our ambition to expand Kuehne+Nagel’s global footprint.”

The Bengaluru site joins recently inaugurated gateways in Milan, Madrid, and Toronto, further strengthening Kuehne+Nagel’s global network for time-critical and high-growth industries.
