Kpler has announced the acquisition of Bridgeton Research Group LLC, strengthening its ability to deliver predictive insights into global commodities and financial markets.
Founded in 2016, Bridgeton Research Group is known for developing proprietary models that analyse and forecast the behaviour of Commodity Trading Advisors (CTAs) and other systematic investment strategies. Its research spans more than 200 global markets and has become a widely referenced source for understanding how algorithmic and rules-based trading influences futures markets.
Kpler said the acquisition complements its extensive coverage of physical commodity fundamentals by adding a deeper layer of insight into systematic trading flows, further enhancing transparency across global markets.
“Our mission has always been to help our clients trade smarter,” said Mark Cunningham, Chief Executive Officer, Kpler. “By bringing Bridgeton into the Kpler family, we’re expanding the dimensions of insight we provide, uniting physical fundamentals with systematic flow analysis to deliver even more value to the organisations that rely on us, while laying the groundwork for Kpler’s evolution into a broader market-intelligence platform.”
Bridgeton’s leadership said the combination will allow its quantitative expertise to reach a wider audience through Kpler’s global platform and infrastructure.
“Bridgeton’s predictive insights into systematic and algorithmic trading behavior align perfectly with Kpler’s mission of helping clients trade smarter,” said Stephen J. Roseme, Managing Member, Bridgeton Research Group.
“By joining forces with Kpler, we gain access to a more robust technology and research platform, allowing our quantitative team to apply its expertise to a much broader audience. Our clients will immediately benefit from Kpler’s global reach, expanded coverage, and world-class client support. We are thrilled to be part of the Kpler family and look forward to contributing to industry-leading product innovation.”
Kpler said the acquisition supports its long-term strategy to evolve beyond physical commodity data into a comprehensive market intelligence platform that integrates fundamentals, analytics, and predictive insight.
