Konecranes has launched a new electric reach stacker, expanding its fully electric lift truck portfolio. The model is built for high-intensity use and delivers up to 16 hours of operation on a single charge.
Konecranes presented the machine to a select audience in Shanghai on November 19. The reach stacker is now available in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa and South America. The company plans to introduce it in Europe and North America next year.

“Our focus is on delivering efficient lift truck solutions worldwide,” said Andreas Falk, Senior Vice President, Lift Trucks. “This electric reach stacker completes our fully electrified range.”
The machine uses fast-charging technology that can fully charge the battery in 1–3 hours. It offers faster handling than diesel models and includes advanced safety systems and intelligent controls.
Konecranes will initially offer four high-capacity top-lift models. The short wheelbase and compact frame improve maneuverability while supporting high lifting capacity across three container rows. It can stack containers up to 5/5-high or 6/5-high for 8’6” and 9’6” units.
“Our electric reach stacker combines leading powertrain technology with intelligent control systems,” said Jeffrey Stokes, Director of Product & Technology Management. “It offers load-sensing hydraulics, fast charging and a spacious, safe cabin to boost productivity in demanding operations.”
