Konecranes won its largest-ever reach stacker contract, for 39 units,from German distributor Richter Fördertechnik GmbH & Co. KG, in March 2020.
Deliveries for the Konecranes SMV 2216 TC3 reach stackers, with modifications to allow for the stacking of 22tonne, 16tonne and 6tonne containers, are scheduled to begin in Q3 2020 and run until Q1 2021.
“Germany is a very important market for us, and this particular order shows great trust in our service support. The cooperation with Richter was key to the awarding of this contract,” said Patrik Starck, Regional Sales Director Europe at Konecranes Lift Trucks.
