Konecranes delivers first X-series crane to Paklog in Croatia

Konecranes has supplied an X-series crane to Croatian packaging company Paklog d.o.o., supporting the company’s expanding operations in Zagreb. The order was placed in May 2025, and both the crane and runway structure are now in operation.

This marks an important step for Paklog, as it is the company’s first crane installation. Paklog specializes in wooden transport packaging and the industrial packing of cargo for sea, air, land, and rail transport. The new crane will streamline heavy load handling, boost throughput, and improve safety in daily operations.

The X-series crane at Paklog features a 5-ton load capacity, a 7.5-meter span, a lifting height of 5.5 meters, and a 43-meter runway length. Key features include:

  • Radio control with display for precise handling

  • Integrated safety lights to improve workplace visibility

  • Stepless inverter for hoisting and travel for smooth load movement

  • DIN hook with finger protection for safer handling

  • Smart Features such as Hook Centering, Follow Me, Snag Prevention, and Sway Control

  • Wireless monitoring tools to simplify maintenance.

Paklog’s Managing Director, Kristina Kleković, said the choice was clear:
“We chose Konecranes because of their global reputation and long-standing experience. This is our first crane, and we see them as a partner for future growth in Croatia.”

Konecranes highlighted that the X-series is particularly well-suited for Paklog’s needs. “The integrated control, inverter system, and Smart Features will help them move goods with greater accuracy, efficiency, and safety,” said Živko Kajić from Konecranes Industrial Equipment.

With its latest installation, Konecranes continues to strengthen its position as a leader in material handling, combining digital technology, efficiency, and safety with a focus on decarbonization and circular solutions.
