KfW IPEX-Bank has extended a USD 80 million revolving sustainability-linked loan facility to Singapore-based container feeder operator X-Press Feeders, supporting the company’s decarbonisation strategy.

The financing will be used to fund fleet renewal, efficiency improvements and other initiatives aligned with X-Press Feeders’ pathway toward climate neutrality by 2050.

The company has been investing in more efficient vessels and alternative fuels, with the new facility forming part of its broader sustainability roadmap aimed at reducing emissions across its operations.

“We are delighted to once again support our valued client X-Press Feeders in its efforts to decarbonise with our financing,” said Aida Welker, Member of the Management Board of KfW IPEX-Bank.

She added that the initiative is expected to benefit German and European suppliers through demand for innovative technologies and vessel upgrades.

The company said continued investment in modern and efficient vessels remains a key priority as it works toward lowering its environmental footprint and supporting sustainable shipping practices.
