KEZAD Group and Jotun Abu Dhabi have signed a 50-year land lease in ICAD – KEZAD Musaffah. Jotun will invest AED 450 million to build an 83,177 sqm state-of-the-art facility for manufacturing, selling, and distributing paints and coatings. The project will create around 200 jobs and replace their existing 22,000 sqm site.
Abdullah Al Hameli, CEO of Economic Cities & Free Zones, AD Ports Group, said the expansion strengthens KEZAD’s industrial landscape and supports Abu Dhabi’s construction sector.
Svein Johan Stub, General Manager of Jotun Abu Dhabi, said the new facility marks a major milestone and allows the company to deliver tailored solutions while supporting the growth of the region’s construction, real estate, and energy industries.
The UAE’s paints and coatings sector is growing rapidly, driven by strong construction demand. Jotun’s expansion in KEZAD further boosts the sector and the nation’s non-oil economy.
