JAXPORT recognized 46 veteran employees

On November 8, JAXPORT recognized its 46 veteran employees with a special Veterans Day luncheon served by the port’s executive team. JAXPORT’s senior leadership has served lunch to this group in gratitude for their military service for the past six years.

More than a quarter of JAXPORT’s 152 employees are veterans and they represent all five branches of the military. JAXPORT’s veterans have a combined 522 years of military service.

“It is a privilege and honor to serve our veteran colleagues today as a small token of our appreciation for their commitment and sacrifice,” said JAXPORT CEO Eric Green. “We are proud to provide jobs for area veterans as we contribute to the economic vitality of Northeast Florida. These individuals bring a level of dedication, integrity and dependability developed in the military that benefits our port, our customers and our community.”
