IRIS Lines, Trans-Asia launch joint intra-Philippine services

IRIS Lines, the shipping division of the Royal Cargo Group, has announced the launch of three new services in collaboration with Trans-Asia Shipping Lines.

These services are scheduled to commence on 28 May and aim to enhance connectivity and flexibility across key Philippine trade routes.



Davao-Gensan Express (DGX)

The bi-monthly DGX service will depart every other Saturday from the Manila North Harbor Port, following the rotation below:

Port Rotation: Manila – General Santos – Davao – Cagayan de Oro – Manila
Vessel Deployed: IRIS Miko (operated by IRIS Lines)

Davao-Zamboanga Express (DZX)

This bi-monthly service will also operate every other Saturday, departing from Manila North Harbor Port.

Port Rotation: Manila – Davao – Zamboanga – Cagayan de Oro – Manila
Vessel Deployed: Trans-Asia 15 (operated by Trans-Asia Shipping Lines)

Manila-Cebu Express (MCX)

The MCX service will be served on a weekly basis and will depart every Monday from Manila North Harbor Port.



Port Rotation: Manila – Cebu – Manila
Vessel Deployed: Trans-Asia 12 (operated by Trans-Asia Shipping Lines)

In addition to these new routes, IRIS Lines said it will continue its regular weekly service to Davao, now operated jointly by IRIS and Trans-Asia vessels.

“This joint venture allows us to enhance services on our established routes and provide additional routing options for greater operational flexibility,” IRIS Lines said in a statement.
