Indian Register of Shipping reveals new leadership appointments

The Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) announced new leadership appointments aiming to strength its management team.

The Board of Directors of IRS has approved the appointment of P.K. Mishra as managing director and T.K. Sahu as joint managing director, effective from 1 August 2024.

P.K. Mishra, who has been with the organization for 26 years and previously served as joint managing director, brings extensive experience and deep industry knowledge. His visionary leadership is expected to propel the IRS to new levels of excellence and innovation.

T.K. Sahu, who will assume the role of joint managing director, has been with the IRS for 22 years. During this period, T.K. Sahu has held several key positions. His technical expertise and strategic insight will further strengthen the leadership team, ensuring a seamless transition and continued organizational growth.

“We are excited about the future with P.K. Mishra and T.K. Sahu at the helm. Their combined experience and dedication to the maritime sector will undoubtedly steer the IRS towards greater success. These leadership appointments mark a new chapter in the organisation’s journey, and we look forward to continued success under the new leadership,” stated Arun Sharma, executive Chairman of IRS Board.
