Inchcape Shipping Services appoints new chief operating officer

Anna Evangelidis took the role of the new chief operating officer at Inchcape Shipping Services on 6 June 2023.

Earlier, Evangelidis worked at BP, Saipem and Lloyds Register (LR), where she held various positions as a naval architect, pipeline engineer, procurement, and other operational leadership roles.

In her new role, Evangelidis will be responsible for three major areas of the company. She will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence and delivery worldwide. Also, she will oversee the expansion of the company’s Global Managed HUB Solutions and lastly, she will be responsible for overseeing Information Technology (IT) and procurement functions.

Philippe Maezelle, CEO of Inchcape Shipping Services, commented, “The move from ‘Operations’ to ‘Operating’ Officer is an important development for our company as it represents a significant expansion of the role.”

He added, “Anna’s wealth of front-line operational experience, knowledge of digital projects and pragmatism makes her the perfect fit for this new position.”
