IMO GHG strategy reaches watershed

This week’s Intersessional Working Group on greenhouse gas (ISWG-GHG) emissions will be critical to the outcome of April’s 83rd meeting of the Marine Environment Protection Committee (MEPC 83) with two major proposals seemingly under discussion, from China and another by 49 nations plus the European Union (EU) and the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS).
