Coordination between ports and ways to facilitate trade, information exchange, and Single Window were on the agenda of the special event on ports organised by the International Maritime Organization on 11 June 2018. European Shippers’ Council discussed the state of the maritime supply chain with the Secretary General of the IMO and suggested to organise a special event on the Supply Chain allowing an exchange of views between all relevant parties in the chain. “A very good idea!” said Secretary General Kitack Lim taking his notebook. ESC is looking forward to this cooperation.
