
Imabari Shipbuilding has delivered the 64,000 dwt bulk carrier INCE SAMSUN. Group company Iwagi Zosen Co., Ltd. built the vessel.
The vessel is a handymax ocean-going bulk carrier. It complies with Common Structural Rules (CSR BC & OT). Each cargo hold includes topside and hopper tanks. This design allows the ship to carry a wide range of cargo.
The vessel can load bulk cargo, grain, coal, ore, cement, steel coils, and long steel products. It also meets the requirements of the IMSBC Code and the IMDG Code.
The ship features wide hatch openings with folding-type hatch covers. It also has four deck cranes. These features improve cargo handling efficiency.
The vessel meets key environmental regulations. These include MARPOL and the Ballast Water Management Convention. It also complies with Phase 3 COâ‚‚ emission requirements, ahead of schedule. The ship is equipped with a ballast water treatment system and an Inventory of Hazardous Materials under the Ship Recycling Convention.
Energy-saving devices support high propulsion performance. The ship uses a high-efficiency propeller and low-friction hull coating to reduce fuel consumption.
