ICTSI’s MICT reaches 50 million TEU milestone

Manila International Container Terminal (MICT), International Container Terminal Service, Inc.’s (ICTSI) flagship terminal, celebrates another milestone by handling its 50 millionth TEU.

The Philippine terminal unloaded the 50 millionth TEU container from Ocean Network Express (ONE)-operated boxship Seabreeze in a shipment owned by HRD Singapore PTE Ltd.

“Leveraging cutting-edge technology, MICT has been at the forefront of innovation within the Philippine port industry since starting operations at the Port of Manila in 1988,” said ICTSI in a statement.
