IAPH welcomes a top-10 container port

Jebel Ali Port has become a regular member of the International Association of Ports and Harbors (IAPH), joining the approximately 200 ports of the association.

IAPH has welcomed Jebel Ali Port, the DP World’s flagship port and the largest seaport in the Middle East. The UAE’s facility is a gateway hub and vital link in the global trade network, connecting eastern and western markets with North Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia, while it ranks among the top ten container ports of the world.

The global association now counts nearly 150 shipping, stevedoring and warehousing businesses, national and regional port associations, port research and training institutes, and manufacturers of port-related products, which are represented as Associate members.
