IAG Cargo has been appointed Ground Handling Agent for Qatar Airways Cargo at Dublin Airport, expanding its third-party handling operations.
Under the agreement, IAG Cargo will manage all Qatar Airways Cargo ground handling activities in Dublin. The move strengthens operational alignment between the two carriers and consolidates handling under a single platform at the Irish gateway.
The partnership supports the broader Global Cargo Joint Business launched in 2025 between IAG Cargo, MASkargo and Qatar Airways Cargo. It aims to improve service consistency, network connectivity and customer experience across key hubs.
Qatar Airways Cargo operates 17 weekly belly-hold flights between Dublin and Doha. All cargo services on the route will now be processed through IAG Cargo’s Dublin facility.
IAG Cargo recently expanded its third-party handling capabilities, including the addition of MASkargo operations at London Heathrow.
David Shepherd, CEO of IAG Cargo, said the agreement reflects growing trust in the company’s operational expertise and highlights Dublin’s strategic role within its network.
Mark Drusch, Chief Officer Cargo at Qatar Airways Cargo, said the partnership supports the carrier’s expanding network and ensures seamless handling for customers in Ireland and beyond.
