Hyundai is reportedly preparing to enter the bidding process to operate a new state-of-the-art shipyard in Casablanca.
The move comes as part of the company’s wider global expansion strategy, aiming to build regional shipbuilding and repair hubs across key maritime corridors.
According to reports from Business Korea, HD Hyundai is seeking a concession-based agreement that would lower upfront capital costs and reduce operational risks, aligning with similar investment frameworks it has pursued in India, Peru, and the United States.
