Hiab has signed an agreement to acquire Brazilian crane manufacturer ING Cranes, strengthening its position in the Brazilian market.
Founded in 2010, ING Cranes reported sales of about €50 million in 2024 and employs roughly 250 people.
Hiab CEO Scott Phillips said the deal supports the company’s growth strategy and combines organic and inorganic expansion. He added that ING Cranes brings a strong record of profitable growth and will help increase Hiab’s market reach and customer value.
Marcel Boxem, VP Sales & Product Management at Hiab, said the acquisition combines Hiab’s global scale with ING Cranes’ local expertise and positions Hiab to become Brazil’s leading loader crane provider.
The deal expands Hiab’s loader crane portfolio in Brazil, offering products from light to heavy-duty for agriculture, construction, rental, and transport customers.
The transaction is subject to closing conditions and is expected to complete in early 2026. The purchase price was not disclosed.
