Hiab has secured a major new deal to supply loader cranes for offshore wind projects in Europe, Asia, and North America.
The company has signed a €23.5 million frame agreement to supply loader cranes for offshore wind farms. The deal runs for three years and extends through 2028.
Deliveries will begin in early 2026 and continue into 2029. Orders will be booked starting in Q4 2025 and split across quarters until Q3 2028.
The agreement builds on a long-standing partnership. It includes the delivery of HIAB SWP cranes, custom-built for offshore wind work.
These cranes are made for tough conditions. They’ll be installed inside turbine nacelles to support maintenance and move parts.
Wind parks in the UK, Taiwan, and the U.S. will benefit first. Future projects are planned in Germany and Denmark.
”This landmark agreement underscores Hiab’s commitment to creating pioneering solutions that power the future of sustainable energy,” said Alexander Gelis, Vice President, Sales & Product Management, Hiab.
