Hiab has completed the acquisition of Brazilian crane manufacturer ING Cranes, following the transaction announced on 26 November 2025. The deal significantly strengthens Hiab’s footprint in Brazil and expands its product offering in one of its key growth markets.
The acquired operations will be consolidated into Hiab’s financial reporting from the first quarter of 2026. ING Cranes recorded sales of approximately EUR 50 million in 2024. The companies have agreed not to disclose the transaction value.
Marcel Boxem, VP Sales & Product Management, Hiab Loader Cranes (Heavy and Superheavy), said the acquisition enhances Hiab’s local portfolio:
“With ING Cranes, Hiab can now offer a full range of loader cranes in Brazil, from light to heavy-duty. This strengthens our position as a preferred solution provider for the agriculture, rental, construction and transportation sectors.”
Horacio Bregoli, CEO of ING Cranes, welcomed the move, noting that joining Hiab creates new opportunities for growth and innovation and allows ING Cranes to contribute to Hiab’s long-term vision for the industry.
Hiab said the acquisition aligns with its strategy of expanding regional capabilities and delivering a broader, more competitive range of lifting solutions to customers in Brazil.
