Hellmann Worldwide Logistics extends digital logistics solution to North America

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is extending its innovative digital express service, Hellmann Express Airfreight, to North America, with operations commencing in the US and Canada by the end of June.

HEX is a modern, fully digital platform designed for international door-to-door express deliveries, leveraging leading courier networks to consolidate shipments at a central hub.

Unlike traditional air-road transport models, HEX is built around advanced digital integration, enabling seamless access to global express networks.

The platform is designed to offer a more efficient, transparent, and user-friendly shipping experience. With customs clearance handled directly by express carriers, HEX is especially well-suited for import operations into the US, aligning with recent updates to US customs policies.

Tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises, HEX provides streamlined access to globally negotiated shipping terms, eliminating the need for individual agreements with multiple courier, express, and parcel service providers.

The platform, developed in collaboration with logistics technology company Shipsy, offers features such as real-time tracking, detailed shipment analytics, and a centralized digital interface for booking and invoicing.

Timo Schamber, Global Vice President of Airfreight at Hellmann, highlighted that the partnership with Shipsy enables the company to deliver a unified platform that simplifies the entire shipping process.
