Hapag-Lloyd, Heavy Lift Surcharge

Hapag-Lloyd announces the implementation of a Heavy Lift Charge (HLC) for all cargo for 20’ General Purpose from West Mediterranean to South America East Coast with origin from Italy, Spain, Egypt, Turkey, France/Fos, Mediterranean and Black Sea Countries.

Effective with the sailing of M/V MM842A MSC Meline commencing on October 18, 2018 onwards and until further notice. Following Heavy Lift Charge from Egypt, Italy, Spain, Egypt, Turkey, France/Fos, Mediterranean and Black Sea Countries to SAEC will apply:

  • 20’ Standard Container

The Mediterranean and Black Sea countries conclude:
Bulgaria, Algeria, Albania, Georgia, Israel, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Croatia, Montenegro, Malta, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Syrian Arab Republic, Tunisia, Russia (Novorossiysk) and Ukraine.
