Hapag-Lloyd has announced an update to the rotation of its US1 service, aimed at optimizing transit times and enhancing schedule reliability for customers trading between Asia and the U.S. East Coast.
Starting in December 2025, Savannah will replace Charleston as the first discharge port in the United States, improving the transit time to Savannah by five days on the eastbound voyage.
The new service rotation will be as follows:
Haiphong → Ningbo → Yangshan → Lazaro Cardenas → Savannah → Charleston → New York → Singapore → Haiphong
The first vessel to operate under this revised rotation will be:
-
Seroja Lima V.544E — ETA Savannah, US on December 11, 2025 (Week 50)
-
Seroja Lima V.544E — ETA Charleston, US on December 15, 2025 (Week 51)
According to Hapag-Lloyd, this service adjustment underscores the company’s commitment to continuously refining its network and providing faster, more reliable connections for its customers.
