Hapag-Lloyd has announced a peak season surcharge (PSS) from Asia and Oceania to Kenya’s port of Mombasa and Tanzania’s port of Dar Es Salaam.
The surcharge of the German carrier has been set at US$600 per TEU and will be effective from 23 May until further notice.
Hapag-Lloyd noted that Asia and Oceania regions cover the following countries:
Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Micronesia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna Island
