Hapag-Lloyd increases rates from South America

Hapag-Lloyd will increase its rates for all reefer and dry cargoes from Brazil to East Asia and for all dry cargoes to Middle East with effect from 1 April 2020 as follows:

  • US$500 per reefer container to East Asia
  • US$200 per 20′ dry container to East Asia and Middle East
  • US$300 per 40′ dry container to East Asia and Middle East

The German shipping company will also increase rates for all reefer cargoes from Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay to East Asia with effect from 9 March 9, 2020 as follows:

  • US$500 per Container
