Hapag-Lloyd increases rates from Asia to Latin America

Hapag-Lloyd will implement the following General Rate Increase (GRI) from Asia, except Japan, to Latin America destinations from 21 February 2023.

The new rates will be applied to 20′ and 40′ dry containers, 40′ high cube boxes and 40′ non-operative reefer containers.

The details for the German carrier’s increase are listed below:

  • 20′ dry container: US$900
  • 40′ dry container: US$1,500
  • 40′ high cube container: US$1,500
  • 40’ non-operative reefer container: US$1,500
