Hapag-Lloyd revises fees in China & Hong Kong

Effective 1 March 2020 Hapag-Lloyd will implement a revised Booking Cancellation fee for export bookings from China and China/Hong Kong which are cancelled seven calendar days or less before the estimated time of departure (ETD) of the first intended vessel due to customer related issues.

  • Manual Processing Fee of Booking Cancellation (MPO): CNY300 (US$43.25) per Bill applicable for China export shipment.
  • Booking Cancellation Fee (BCF): HK300 (US$38.58) per Bill applicable for China/Hong Kong export shipment.

These booking cancellation fees are chargeable for customer requested cancellations only, Hapag-Lloyd says in its announcement.
