Hapag-Lloyd, MSC and ONE enhance joint service linking US and Latin America

Hapag-Lloyd, MSC and Ocean Network Express (ONE) will add a new port call and will deploy one more container vessel to the US Gulf – South America East Coast GS1/ANG/Gulf to SAEC 2 service in August.

More specifically, the 6,622 TEU boxship Tokyo Bay will be the ninth vessel deployed on the service, while the port of Paranagua in Brazil will be added to the service’s port rotation.

The first call at the port of Pranagua is expected during the last week of August. This new setup will be kicking off during August 2023, on the service’s northbound voyage.

In particular, the new port rotation will be as follows:

Veracruz (Mexico) –> Altamira (Mexico) –> Houston (US) –> New Orleans (US) –> Cartagena (Colombia) –> Suape (Brazil) –> Santos (Brazil) –> Buenos Aires (Argentina) –> Montevideo (Uruguay) –> Rio Grande (Brazil) –> Navegantes (Brazil) –> Paranagua (Brazil) –> Santos (Brazil) –> Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) –> Cartagena (Colombia) –> Veracruz (Mexico)
