Hapag-Lloyd applies contingency surcharge on North America – Pakistan shipments

Hapag-Lloyd has announced a contingency surcharge (CSU) between Pakistan and North America, including the United States and Canada.

The surcharge will be in effect from June 1 for shipments between Canada and Pakistan and from June 16 for shipments between the US and Pakistan.



The surcharge details are listed below:

  • From Pakistan to North America: US$500 per container
  • From North America to Pakistan: US$300 per container
