Hapag Lloyd, Tunisia – Terminal Congestion Surcharge Sousse and Bizerte

Due to severe terminal congestion, our operations in Sousse and Bizerte (Tunisia) are being affected beyond normal conditions. As a result, Hapag-Lloyd will start implementing a Congestion Surcharge for all import shipments to Sousse and Bizerte as follows:

  • USD 90 per TEU (or EUR 76 per TEU)

The above-mentioned surcharge is effective from June 25, 2018. For US trades the effective date is July 15, 2018 in accordance to FMC rules. The surcharge will be valid until further notice.
For further information, please contact your local Hapag-Lloyd office.
