Hapag-Lloyd changes terminal in Hamburg

Hapag-Lloyd has announced that as of week 19 the IEX Service will replace the call at the HHLA Container Terminal Altenwerder (CCA) in Hamburg with a call at HHLA Container Terminal Tollerortin (CCT) in Hamburg.

The port rotation of the IEX will remain as follows:

Visakhapatnam • Krishnapatnam • Chennai • Colombo • Cochin • Damietta • Piraeus • Rotterdam • London Gateway • Hamburg • Antwerp • Le Havre • Damietta • Jeddah • Colombo

The first sailing, which will call at CTT will be:

  • Al Safat 2018E, ETA Hamburg 5 May 2020
    (departing Damietta on 21 April 2020 as Al Safat 2009W)

All transhipment operations to and from outports, as well as connections to other Hapag-Lloyd services, will still be served as usual, either by direct feeder call or by terminal shunting, said the German carrier.
