Hapag-Lloyd announces new surcharges

Effective as of 5 February 2020 (Gate In date), Hapag-Lloyd will adjust the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from Mundra to Jeddah as follows:

  • US$ 200 per 20′ STD Container
  • US$ 200 per 40′ STD Container
  • US$ 300 per 40′ HC Container

Hapag-Lloyd will also apply a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) for all container types on the Middle East trade from Mediterranean to Middle East & Indian Subcontinent. Effective for sailings as of 1 March 2020 and valid until further notice the PSS for Mediterranean ports to Middle East & Indian Subcontinent ports will be as follows:

  • US$ 75 per 20’
  • US$ 100 per 40’
