Hapag-Lloyd announces EIS for intra-Asia shipments to Cambodia

Hapag-Lloyd announces that an Equipment Imbalance Surcharge (EIS) will apply to intra-Asian shipments to Cambodia starting 1 May 2025 and will remain in effect until further notice.

The surcharge details will be as follows:

  • 20′ Dry Container: US$120
  • 40′ Dry Container: US$240
  • 40′ High Cube Container: US$240
  • 20′ Reefer Container: US$120
  • 40′ Reefer Container: US$240

The EIS applies to shipments from the following countries: Brunei, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam to Cambodia.
