Hapag-Lloyd announces Asia-West Africa service update

Hamburg-based container line Hapag-Lloyd has decided to upgrade its Asia-West Africa (AWA) service, effective from 5 December.

The German ocean carrier said it will establish “an extended port coverage from Asia to South West African ports”.

The new rotation will include direct port calls in Kribi, Cameroon and Walvis Bay, Namibia.

The updated port rotation of AWA service will be Qingdao (China) – Shanghai (China) – Ningbo (China) – Nansha (China) – Tanjung Pelepas (Malaysia) – Singapore – Pointe Noire (Congo) – Kribi (Cameroon) – Luanda(Angola) – Walvis Bay (Namibia) – Singapore – Qingdao.
