Hapag-Lloyd announced rates increase in several destinations

In light of current market conditions, Hapag-Lloyd has announced an increased ocean tariff rate for all cargoes in 20’ and 40’ (incl. high cube) containers on the eastbound trade from North Europe to the Far East (excluding Japan).

Valid for sailings commencing on 1 June 2020 onwards and until further notice, the rates  will be:

At the same time, Hapag-Lloyd has announced that as of 11 May 2020 (Gate in date), it will apply a general rate increase for all cargoes from Mundra to Arabian Gulf and Jeddah as follows:

  • Mundra to Arabian Gulf
    US$50 per 20’ Standard Container
  • Mundra to Jeddah
    US$100 per 20’ Standard Container
