Hanseatic Global Terminals (HGT) announced that its subsidiary, SAAM Terminals, will officially rebrand under the HGT name effective 1 August 2025.
As part of this transition, SAAM Terminals will become HGT’s regional office for Latin America. The rebranding will also extend to SAAM Logistics and SAAM Extraportuarios, which will be integrated into HGT’s Inland Services division.
This rebranding initiative marks a significant step in HGT’s strategic plan to enhance its global network and service capabilities. Implementation of the new brand identity will begin in June 2025 and is expected to be completed by the end of July.
Dheeraj Bhatia, CEO of Hanseatic Global Terminals, stated: “This rebranding marks a major milestone in our journey toward becoming a global terminal operator by 2030.”
Under the new structure, SAAM Terminals’ Santiago headquarters will serve as HGT’s Latin America regional headquarters, operating under the legal name Hanseatic Global Terminals Latin America S.A. SAAM Logistics and SAAM Extraportuarios will be renamed Hanseatic Global Terminals Chile Logistics S.A. and Hanseatic Global Terminals Chile Extraportuarios S.A., respectively.
The rebranding includes updates to facility signage, employee uniforms, office environments, and digital assets such as websites and social media platforms. Additionally, internal processes and service standards will be harmonized to ensure consistent, world-class operations across the network.
Looking ahead, Hanseatic Global Terminals aims to expand its portfolio from 22 terminals to approximately 30 by 2030, solidifying its evolution into a truly global terminal operator.
